I live in the beautiful Mimbres Valley in Southwest New Mexico. My home and studio have an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains. Our home is located in a secluded high desert environment; I enjoy painting the mountains and terrain, imcluding it's unique flora and fauna.
Landscape Painting in oil is my main focus and I enjoy painting and drawing outside, popularly known by many artists by the French word, "plein air painting". Although I work mainly in oil, sometimes while hiking or in town I work with one of the more portable mediums such as pastel on toned paper or watercolors. I have a wonderful studio in my home where I also create paintings.
